Artistic Birds featured on Texas Parks & Wildlife

Filed under: Miscellaneous — Carolyn Whiteside @ 1:10 pm

Recently, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Magazine had a feature article about the “artistic bird” images that I was creating. It was quite an honor to have my work in such an outstanding publication. Earl Nottingham, chief photographer, described it in this quote.  “While much of Carolyn’s work consists of Texas flora, fauna and landscapes, her distinctive bird photos truly stand out. Working with a combination of photography and layered textures and graphics in Photoshop, she seamlessly blends the realism of a photograph with various painterly layers that accentuate the delicate and unique avian features of a given species.” Click here to see the gallery.
